Since the Easter bunny is coming, I found these super cute and really easy Easter bunnies that my four and two year old would be able to make. My go to craft place is Hobby Lobby, they just have a lot of kid friendly things to make for a reasonable cost. These bunnies only cost $2.99 plus they were 20% off! Doing crafts with the kids lets us spend quality time together, have fun and it tests Mommy’s ocd, to put the stickers exactly where they are supposed to go. These Easter bunnies came in a pack of two, which makes it perfect since I have two kids. The bunnies and all of the pieces that come with it are made out of foam. Each of the pieces have a peel off back so you can just peel off the paper and stick them to the bunny, nice and simple. Once they were finished I just put a cute message and the boys’ names on the bunnies tummies and hung them up in our home to add to our other Easter decorations. I really enjoy teaching my kids how to do these kind of crafts because even though they seem super simple to adults the kids learn fine motor skills with their hands, they learn where body parts and articles of clothing go on the body, plus it makes them use their imagination. As a parent, I believe it is very important for a kid to use their creative side because it gets their mind working, which will help them throughout their lives. Also, the boys love all of the compliments they receive on their projects when someone comes over. They definitely enjoy the attention which makes them want to do more projects and I fully support that.
